Thunes Hires Latin America Head to Boost Regional Growth

São Paulo, Brazil / Singapore, 1 March 2023 – Thunes, a global cross-border payments company, today announced the appointment of Victor Lucena as the company’s new Head of LATAM. As the company’s Head of LATAM, Victor Lucena will be based in São Paulo, and will oversee all aspects of Thunes’ Latin American operations, leading Thunes’ team and growth strategy in the region.
A fintech native, Victor has gained extensive experience in sales and business development for leading payments platforms and financial services firms, including PayU, Binance, Worldpay, and Rapyd. Having worked in Brazil and many other countries across South America, he brings a deep understanding of regional cultural differences and market dynamics to his new role. He was directly responsible for winning deals with some of the big digital brands in the region.
